Absolutely one of the best places I have ever had the pleasure of dining in! The place is clean, the food is AMAZING, and the staff are super friendly! If you haven't been, it is a definite must.

Great food and great service. We strolled in unaware they were closing in the next 45 minutes but never felt pressured out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of our party of 7 (3 adults 4 kids) Food was very fresh tasting and perfectly cooked! The grilled cheese was in the top 10 grilled cheeses for sure. Also if you serve Tillamook ice cream you win in my book!The bathroom was very well cleaned and after seeing the state of the public restroom in the beach access we were very happy with it haha.

Kathy, the owner, was a wonderful server and host, showing grace under pressure with the water situation during the height of summer tourism. The place was cute, had a great view and most of all delicious, well priced food. I'd definitely go back!

Stopped in here for breakfast before heading home from a recent trip to the coast. The staff is wonderfully kind and the food is amazing! Outstanding eggs and bacon. Also, try the crab cakes, they're really good. They were jamming some good 90s Rock tunes too, so that was cool. Overall, an excellent conclusion to another wonderful trip to the Oregon coast. Thanks a ton! 😄

This place had the best fries I've had, possible ever! Their Plain Jane burger was great, perfectly seasoned and a good size too. Price was as expected for a small seaside cafe and the food was worth it. If I make it that way again I will absolutely go out of my way to eat there again.

Food was delicious, service was excellent. House coffee is perfect. My 8y.o. daughter had the kid's fish and chips and say it's the best she's ever eaten, "even better than the school's" Overall I highly recommend this place.

Stopped in for a milkshake to go, and we ended up staying there for lunch. Simple, appitizing menu! Prices are $-$$, depending on what all you get. I was told they had breakfast. And I took myself plus 2 back. We walked in they were busy. But she told us to have a seat, it was rrally cozy, moms shop with her boys. Coffe was Help yourself which was super cool! We got some awesome biscuts and gravy. Gravy was awesome!! Thought i could finish it all but had a slice of fremch toast that was so good! Great batter, but filled me right up! Beach view while you eat. Choose the quiet corner with sun on your back, outside with the brisk air and ocean waves or the middle upfront, either way you feel right at home. Food came out in great time. Loved it all the way!

Actually 4 and a half rating from this reviewer for this charming little eatery. Good breakfasts and service as you overlook the beach at Oceanside. We loved their crab cakes breakfast and the seafood scramble with plenty of tasty crab and shrimp, good biscuits and great fried potatoes. Both were a big hits at our table. I wanted to give this fine establishment a 5 star rating, but as an early riser, I did not want to wait for the 0900 opening...but it turns out that the Blue Agate is worth the wait!

We ate here quite a few times over spring break. It's a small place with a beautiful view of the ocean. Also they have a dog friendly dining area at the rear of the building. It seems to be a popular place because it had been packed on all of our visits. Service can be a bit slow, but the food and beverage is fresh and amazing! The menu changes from breakfast to lunch mid day. Had the seafood omelet and a mix of sandwiches over the visit, all were delicious. If you love mimosas, this is the place to grab one. They have a small selection of beer as well. Coffee is self-serve and in unlimited supply.

What a great tiny cafe in the heart of Oceanside. It has so much character and great views of the Pacific. The food was very good, we got the Sea garden breakfast burrito and the crab and shrimp scramble. The seafood is so fresh you would think they pulled it out of the Sea right after you ordered. The staff is friendly and they have all you can drink coffee for only $2.50

Incredible breakfast spot! Beautiful ocean views from the dining room and the staff are very friendly. Everything on the menu is good, but my personal favorite is the crab cakes. I’ll definitely come back here every time I’m in the area - you should too!

My partner and I moved to the area just a few months ago and we've already been to Blue Agate half a dozen times! It's where we take all of our guests who come to visit.What I love most is how cozy it is inside! Especially when it's stormy out and you can just watch the rain and the waves roll in. The food is pretty good too! Serving sizes are big without being obscenely big, if you know what I mean? The crab cakes are amazing and so is the breakfast sandy. The service is usually pretty good. Sometimes if it's packed service can get slow, but hey, it's usually only one or two people working tables, so it's okay.Overall, I highly recommend Blue Agate if you're in the area!

Cannot say enough about this place. The Fish tacos are amazing. The best I've ever had. Then, last weekend their fish delivery hadn't shown up yet so we had tbe Pulled Pork tacos!! Equally amazing. Everything is made fresh too.

They have a mermaid holding a blue agate for a logo. Food is the best in Oceanside. Time trip for low tide and take walk around the head for amazing sites.
